Packing up to leave

One process that is going to take a while is cleaning the room and getting everything packed and ready to head home for the summer. Cleaning will take a while since the room has to be spotless and making sure i pack everything is really important. It probally wouldnt be a bad idea to double check over the room a  few times before leaving.

Preparing for Finals week

This week is going to be very busy and stressful for everybody with finals in a week. I think it is important to start studying early so it is less nerve racking for you. I also think it is important to stay relaxed and take lots of breaks and go to the gym or do something to keep your mind clear.

Weather setback

Well, i thought the weather was starting to look up but today it was hailing outside when goin to class in the morning. its the end of April and were getting hail, which is pretty weird to see at this time of the year. Hopfully the weather gets back on track after this small setback.

Summer is coming

The weather has started to look alot better lately, and you can feel the summer mood around campus. Last week there were a few very warm days and everybody was outside in shorts playing football, baseball, soccer and other activities. Im hoping this weather keeps up and continues to improve.

welcome back prank

 Over spring break i went to florida with my family to visit some freinds. I came back to school on tuesday afternoon, knowing that my freinds love to mess with each others stuff in their room to get a reaction out of them. I also knew that my freinds had nearly 3 days to come up with something so i wasn't surprised when i entered my room and everything was gone. My friends transported my bed, posters and everything else into the study lounge, but i cant say that i was surprised at all.

Bomb threat at Cumberland hall

        Yesterday while i was at the library i got a message that there was a bomb threat in my dorm at Cumberland. Somebody wrote that there was a bomb in the bathroom in permanent marker on the side of  the stairs, and the cops made everybody evacuate and go stay up in hilltop while they searched the dorm with bomb sniffing dogs. It also just happened to be that somebody wrote my name near the bomb threat writing in permanent marker also, so i had to talk with the police and get questioned. This was pretty confusing for everybody i think. It turned out that it was just a false alarm and everybody was back in the dorm after 2 hours.

My blog is about my first year experience at the University of Maine. I will be posting my experiences and stories from what happens in my life at college. I have a pretty interesting dorm hall and there is always something going on.
